Information from 19th July

COVID-19 rules

We continue to follow the latest Government and Swim England advice to be a COVID Secure venue.  Following the easing of Lockdown on 19th July we will still continue to keep some procedures to ensure the safety of our customers 

SWIMMING

  1. Do not enter the site if you display any symptoms of COVID-19, you are in a bubble with someone who has tested positive or if you have tested positive.
  2. We advise you to wear a face covering unless exempt (Under 11 or medically exempt).  Hand sanitiser is available on entry to the building.
  3. Check in at reception.  Members can swipe their card.  You will need to pre book ladies only and family swimming to guarantee a space.  Maintain suitable distancing while in the que.
  4. Use the NHS Test and Trace app to check in or provide your details.
  5. Follow the one way system into the changing rooms.  Quickly get changed and use the lockers (20p coin) to store your belongings.
  6. Make your way to the pool for the designated time, maintaining social distance from anyone outside of your bubble.
  7. When you leave the pool you can have a quick shower but we would advise you to shower at home.  Make your way to the changing rooms and get changed as quickly as you can.
  8. We would advise you to wear a face covering on and exit the building.

 

GYM

  1. Do not enter the site if you display any symptoms of COVID-19, you are in a bubble with someone who has tested positive or if you have tested positive.
  2. We advise you to wear a face covering unless exempt. Hand sanitiser is available on entry to the building.
  3. Check in at reception or swipe your membership card.  Maintain appropriate distancing while in the que.
  4. Non members should use the NHS Test and Trace app to check in or provide your details.
  5. Changing rooms are not available so make your way to the gym, sanitising your hands on entry.
  6. We recommend you remove your face covering for exercising.
  7. Use the cleaning stations to wipe down all equipment before and after use.
  8. Once finished, wipe down equipment and then we advise you to put your face covering on and exit the building.

 

SWIMMING LESSONS

  1. Do not enter the site if you or your child display any symptoms of COVID-19, you are in a bubble with someone who has tested positive or if you have tested positive.
  2. We would advise you to come in wearing a face covering unless exempt (Under 11 or medically exempt).  Hand sanitiser is available on entry to the building.
  3. Check in at reception.  Maintain social distancing while in the que.
  4. Follow the one way system in the changing rooms.
  5. Children should wait on the poolside in the designated waiting area for their lesson.
  6. The parent / guardian should return through the changing room to the reception area.
  7. Only one parent/guardian is recommended to spectate to help reduce the number of people in the area.
  8. Once the lesson is complete, collect your child and quickly get them changed and make your way out.
