RLSS UK NPLQ Gen 10 – Level 3 Qualification

The NPLQ covers pool rescue techniques, lifeguarding theory, first aid, CPR and AED, providing you with valuable skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be 16+ at the time of the final assessment and must meet the RLSS UK swimming and physical prerequisites, including:

Swim 50m in under 60 seconds
Swim 100m continuously on your front and back
Tread water for 30 seconds in deep water
Surface dive to the bottom of the pool
Jump/dive into deep water
Climb out of the pool unaided, without using a ladder or steps (where the pool design permits)

100% attendance is required, with a minimum of 36 hours of training.

FUNDING AVAILABLE – AGES 16–25

We have a limited number of funded places available for people aged 16–25.

Swimming Crash Courses

Support Our Future Swimming Teachers!

We’re excited to be running our Children’s Group Swimming Lessons from 29th – 31st July as part of an STA Swimming Teacher training course. This is a fantastic opportunity for our trainee teachers to gain valuable hands-on experience while helping your child develop their swimming skills and confidence in the water.

For just £15, your child can attend all 3 days, receiving 1 hour of swimming each day in a group setting. During each session, the teacher will change every 30 minutes, giving children the opportunity to work with different trainee teachers and experience a variety of teaching styles and activities.

Suitable for Stages 1-6

Only £15 for the full 3 days

By booking, you’ll not only be supporting your child’s swimming journey, but you’ll also be helping us train and develop the next generation of swimming teachers as we continue to grow and strengthen our swim school.

Kids Summer Membership

Looking for an affordable way to keep the kids active this summer? We’ve got just the thing!

Our Children’s Summer Swimming Membership is back, giving children access to our public swims, family swims, and inflatable sessions throughout the summer holidays for just £25 for 6 weeks!

That’s incredible value! If your child makes the most of the membership throughout the summer holidays, it could work out at as little as 60p per day! That’s six weeks of swimming, fun, and staying active for less than the price of a chocolate bar!

Valid from 20th July – 30th August

Please note: Swimming lessons are not included.

Important information:

Children aged 8 years and over can attend public swim sessions independently.

Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult in the water at all times.

Parents/carers accompanying children under 8 will need to pay the standard swim admission fee.
