RLSS UK NPLQ Gen 10 – Level 3 Qualification

The NPLQ covers pool rescue techniques, lifeguarding theory, first aid, CPR and AED, providing you with valuable skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be 16+ at the time of the final assessment and must meet the RLSS UK swimming and physical prerequisites, including:

Swim 50m in under 60 seconds
Swim 100m continuously on your front and back
Tread water for 30 seconds in deep water
Surface dive to the bottom of the pool
Jump/dive into deep water
Climb out of the pool unaided, without using a ladder or steps (where the pool design permits)

100% attendance is required, with a minimum of 36 hours of training.

FUNDING AVAILABLE – AGES 16–25

We have a limited number of funded places available for people aged 16–25.

These focused lessons are a fantastic way to build confidence, improve technique and make progress in a short space of time. Whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced swimmer, our instructors can tailor the sessions to you!
