Five Year Flashback
Flashback! Just over 5 years ago here are some photos from when our manager Phil first visited the pool. It had been closed to the public for 4 years!
At that moment in time, the volunteers from the board of trustees had been working for 4 years to get to the point where they were in a position to start recruitment and appointed our first members of staff, Phil and Rashida who still work passionately today.
As a reminder, we are single site charity run organisation overseen by a board of trustees that volunteer their time. Without them we would not be here today so we would like to say a big thank you to past and current volunteers, you should all be so proud. We do not receive any financial support from the council so every penny we make is put back into the organisation.
Finally, thank you to everyone who supports us by using our facilities. We are proud to offer such a range of activities, opportunities and experiences for everyone.

What a fantastic weekend celebrating our 5-year anniversary! 
Huge thanks to everyone who came down to celebrate with us. A massive thank you to our staff and board of trustees who helped with the event and made the celebration a success and not only! A special shoutout to Inspire Youth who delivered the arts and crafts, as well as the face painting and Epic West who talked to everyone about their amazing work! Lastly and most importantly, a massive thank you to all the customers who have chosen us along the years as their leisure centre provider. We wouldn’t be here without you!

Drowning Prevention Week
Drowning Prevention Week 2024- We were absolutely devastated to hear about the tragic news of two teenage boys who have lost their lives after getting into difficulty into one of the nearby rivers a couple of weeks ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends at this time. This is a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of water safety.
As we approach drowning prevention week from the 15-22nd of June, it is crucial that we all take the time to educate ourselves and our loved ones about the dangers of water. At our facility, all of our lessons during this week will be tailored around water safety.

Take this time during Drowning Prevention Week as it’s never too early to start teaching children about water safety. Let’s come together to prevent future tragedies and protect our communities.
