- Our centre benefits from a gently graded access ramp leading to the main entrance.
- It provides smooth, step-free access for wheelchair users, those using mobility aids, pushchairs, or anyone who may find steps difficult.
💪 Accessible Gym Facilities
- Accessed via the lift and offers space to move comfortably between equipment.
- Many machines can be adjusted to suit individual needs, including our cable machines and free weights area.
- Our team is always happy to provide guidance, support with equipment setup, or suggest suitable alternatives where needed.
Inclusive Activities & Support
We aim to make our activities as inclusive as possible and welcome participants of all abilities.
Many of our classes and sessions can be adapted depending on individual needs. However, suitability may vary depending on the nature of the activity and the type of support required.
We strongly encourage anyone with specific accessibility requirements to speak with a member of our team before attending. Our staff are always happy to:

Disability-Friendly Swim
We also offer a Disability-Friendly Swim session every Sunday at 3:30pm. This session is designed to provide a relaxed, supportive environment for swimmers with disabilities, additional needs, or those who benefit from a quieter session.

Carer Access
We recognise the important role carers play and are pleased to offer free entry for carers, provided they are supporting an individual and are not using the facilities themselves.

Monday to Friday 6am to 9pm
Saturday 8am – 5.30pm
Sunday 8am to 3pm
Our car park is accessed from Beech Grove Road. It does get busy at times but there’s ‘on street’ parking just a short walk away on Westmoreland Road and there’s a car park near the shops on Elswick Road.
